P & C

Eden Hill Primary School

Want to get more involved in the school? P&C is the place to start.

Our P&C meetings take place twice a term (Week 3 & 7). We would love to see some new faces, so please come along to one of our friendly meetings. We discuss fundraising activities, what’s happening around the school and hear from the Principal and staff.

Meeting dates for 2024 will be advertised in our school newsletter.

What is the P&C?

Established under the Education Act of 1999, P&C Associations are the forum for parents and guardians of children to get involved in the school.

Our P&C exists to:

  • foster parent participation and involvement in the school
  • be the forum for parents to discuss issues pertaining to the school and its community
  • provide extra resources and activities for the benefit of students
  • promote and support communication and cooperation within the school community
  • have representation on the School Board– the official body which steers the school policy

Fundraising

All the funds raised by the P&C must be spent for the benefit of the students.

Eden Hill P&C raises money in three main ways:

  • a voluntary annual contribution from parents
  • major fundraising events during the year. These include Colour-a-thon, stalls and raffles
  • other small-scale events throughout the year.

P&C support is crucial to provide extra amenities and opportunities for our students.
