It clearly articulates the skills needed for children to become lifelong learners and help prepare them to achieve success in the future. The Western Australian Curriculum provides teachers, parents, students, and others in the wider community a coherent and comprehensive set of prescribed content and achievement standards. Schools will use these guidelines to plan student learning programs, assess progress and report the outcomes to parents.
