YouthCARE chaplains provide pastoral care to students, school staff and members of the community, irrespective of their faith or cultural backgrounds. Pastoral care includes a variety of issues including health, social and values education, behaviour management and emotional support. YouthCARE school chaplains are an integral part of their schools’ student services and support teams and cultivate the personal and social wellbeing of students, their families and staff in need of social, emotional, mental, physical and spiritual support.

We are fortunate to have Jenny Palandri as the School Chaplain for Eden Hill Primary School. The focus of her time at our school is to support students’ emotional health and wellbeing. She is available to provide pastoral care to students referred to by the SAER Team (Students at Educational Risk Team) or class teachers. Parents may contact Marcus Digney - Associate Principal or Jo Bassett - Associate Principal to request a referral for their child to be supported by this valuable service.
The School Volunteer Program at Eden Hill School assists our students through a network of caring people with the skills and time to provide support and guidance. Our volunteers offer their services to students at any stage of their educational pathway through a one-to-one mentoring program. Their support assists students to stay engaged in their learning and provides additional opportunity for them to realise their full potential socially, emotionally and academically.
The Schools Volunteer Program Co-ordinators are Tracey Franulovich and Jenny Palandri. If you or someone you know may be interested in becoming a School Volunteer, please speak to Tracey or Jenny and visit the website for more information http://www.svp.org.au
